What To Expect
In The Cave

using cognitive brain research to optimize how we get work done.
Oh, we also have fun along the way.

Focused Work Sprints

Each sprint is 45-52 minutes long to optimize brain’s focus capacity, based on research. We don’t tell you exactly how long so that you can immerse yourself in your work.

Short, Energizing Breaks

Our best creative and productive output requires energy input. To avoid burnout and isolation, we lead short breaks to stay connected and keep our energy up.

Facilitated by a
Trained Cave Guide

We have over 35 facilitators from around the world from diverse professional backgrounds.

They’ll put you in breakout rooms for check-in and check-out, and guide you through your experience in The Cave.

You’re in good hands.

Still Unclear?

How Can You
Be Prepared?

1. Start With The Hard Thing First

We Cavedwellers do our most challenging task early in The Cave while we still have our best focus and energy. We often fall into the trap of building momentum with easy tasks, but suddenly, it’s 3pm and we don’t have the mental capacity to do our hard work.

So bring challenging work that takes some thought and energy.

2. Turn On Do Not Disturb Mode

Starting with our phones, Cavedwellers leave all distractions out of The Cave.
Close tabs, quit programs, mute notifications, and hide our phones.

3. Monotask

Multitasking promotes limited attention spans. Multitasking is the only thing where the more we do it, the worse we get Splitting our attention across different tasks is not only counter-productive but also reduces our cognitive abilities.

That’s why Cavedwellers practice monotasking in The Cave.
