Community Guidelines

Caveday is a place for people to do their best work. To our community, that requires a feeling of safety as well as belonging, and connectedness. We invite not just safe conversations but brave ones that require vulnerability and trust. That said, our community standards are:

Listen Actively. When people are vulnerable, hold space for them. It's enough to hear them and thank them for sharing.

•In breakout rooms and chats, no personal advice or self-promotion should be given unless requested or you've received buy-in from the recipient. Example: "Would you be open to hearing my take?"

•The group prompts should be answered first by everyone before chatting casually.

Speak your truth. Your story is only yours to share. Speak in “I” statements

Racist, sexist, ageist, ableist, homophobic, transphobic, antisemitic, and other hate language are not tolerated within our community. If you witness something, please share it with us. If you feel able to speak up to it, we encourage you to do so.

•While we all want to create a more open and deeply-connected community, please respect the privacy of your fellow Cavedwellers. Be cautious asking personal questions if the individual hasn't broached the subject.
