WEEKLY CHECK-INS

If you are unable to attend, you’ll respond to the prompts over email/messaging.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Don't get caught in the quantity game. There is no one way to play.
You can push yourself or find clarity. Or both! Some people have 1 big task, others have 80 little tasks.

Break tasks down into manageable chunks.

First-timers, only scope up to 2 WEEKS worth of tasks.

You can always add tasks, but you can't delete after the Squad begins.

If you have a weekly goal, you decide when the week ends.

You are only committing to what you write.
Any task can be written with flexibility for what could come up.
We've found that 95% of people underestimate the amount of time, number of steps, and what could get in the way.
Think DEEPLY. This is part of the work. We get into trouble when we don't write goals that account for unknowns.

Example: "I want to finish this project, but a piece of it is out of my hands.
So I'll write "Finish project unless blocked by 3rd party." or I could write it as "Spend 20 hours on project"

Example: "I want to do 100 pushups every day. But who knows what will come up,
so I'll write it as "7 sets of 100 pushups, over at least 4 days.
That means I'll have to make it a habit, but I can double up if something happens."

We're only tracking S.M.A.R.T Goals (Small, measurable, achievable, relevant, time-bound).

If you have a weekly goal (i.e. 100 pushups per work), write it as four separate goals (Ex: Week 1, Week 2, Week 3, Week 4).
The week ends when you want it to.
